Steady beat can be fast or slow.

The Tempo Treadmill has two different activities: Game Mode ON and Game Mode OFF.

Game Mode OFF: Click the Slow, Medium, and Fast on the dial to hear and see the tempo change. (The BPM means beats per minute, kind of like miles per hour.)

Game Mode ON: Change the Game Mode to ON. Click the yellow play button to hear music. Click the speed you think the music is playing. If his legs are going the right tempo, click the green Go! button.

The metronome below plays as slow as largo and as fast as prestissimo. It also plays the tempos in between.

A metronome helps musicians keep a steady beat and play or sing together.

Click the yellow play button to hear a steady beat. You can change how fast or how slow it goes.

You can change the sound too that the metronome makes (beep, clank, etc.).

You can also tap out your own tempo by clicking 4 times on the yellow button that says: Tap here 4x.

Use the Song Maker to compose a composition. Try playing it at different tempos.
