Who is this for?

This course combo is designed for kids ages 7 to 12.

Students should complete the Junior Music White, Yellow, Orange, & Green Belts before enrolling in Junior Blue Belt.

Upper elementary and middle school students looking for an in-depth music course should enroll in the White Belt Ear Training & Music Theory course rather than Junior Music.

What is the learning experience?

These self-paced online courses will guide your student through more advanced music listening skills.

Students receive immediate feedback on their activities and games. There are no grades in Junior Music.

These courses include a total of 60 modules. Each module takes about 20 minutes.

There are no instruments, music, or books to buy.

What do I need to know about technology?

These courses will be accessible for twelve months after logging in to one of them. Login information will be emailed upon course purchase.

Siblings can share a single login because there are no checkpoints, grades, or badges to track.

Older kids should be able to read the activity instructions and complete the modules independently. Young children may need an older sibling or adult to show them where to click.

Students will need to use a computer or tablet with internet access to navigate the modules. A phone screen is too small. Those using a tablet will need to download the Canvas Student app.
